Athlete365 Mind Zone and Olympic Village Nursery are just two of the many new facilities and services available to the 10,500 athletes who will compete in the forthcoming Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. The IOC Executive Board (EB) was briefed by Emma Terho, Chair of the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) Athletes’ Commission (AC), on the programs and designated spaces that the athletes will have access to in the Olympic Villages this summer.
Athletes and members of their entourage can learn more about all the IOC support programs that are available to them and become more knowledgeable about important subjects like competition manipulation and anti-doping at the Athlete365 House, which is located in each Olympic Village.
From July 18, 2024 (the day the Olympic Village opens), to August 6, 2024, athletes competing in the Games will have the opportunity to cast their votes for four new members of the IOC AC at the same place. Thirty people are running for office, representing fifteen summer sports and thirty different countries. The four members whose tenure expire at the end of Paris 2024 will be replaced by the athletes who were elected.
